Part 1: 2:00-2:45: General orientation session for all new grad students Part 2: 2:45-4:00- Breakout sessions: Separate discussions for MEng and MS/PhD programs.

- See advanced course list
- Email about force-add requests (ONLY if you are unable to add yourself online, DO NOT email about a class that is full): MS/PhD: Dr. Shaffer, MEng: Alexis.
- Deal appropriately with multiple email accounts. If you don't use PID@vt.edu as your every-day email account, then make sure that it gets forwarded to your every-day email account.
- Sign up for an SLO account: Go to admin page and click on "Create Account"
- Don't forget to handle email forwarding! And whitelist "vt.edu" domain in your email client.
